This course is divided into 5 main areas - Section 1 looks at what is a confined space and the people and hazards involved in confined space entry tasks, Section 2 looks at safety of the atmosphere, Section 3 details types and use of gas detection equipment, Section 4 covers risk assessment and developing a safe entry plan, and Section 5 looks at emergency equipment and response for confined space entry work culminating in a risk assessment and entry permit for a specific scenario.
